(Caribbean Regional Fisheries Mechanism Press Release) —Fisheries Ministers from countries that comprise the Caribbean Regional Fisheries Mechanism (CRFM) met on Friday, 22 April 2022, at their 16th Regular Meeting.
(Caribbean Regional Fisheries Mechanism Press Release)—The Caribbean Regional Fisheries Mechanism (CRFM) and the Caribbean Community Implementation Agency for Crime and Security (CARICOM IMPACS) hosted a Technical Meeting on Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated (IUU) Fishing and Organised Crime in the Fishing Industry this week.
The Caribbean Regional Fisheries Mechanism (CRFM), an institution of CARICOM, promotes and facilitates the responsible utilization of the region’s fisheries and other aquatic resources for the economic and social benefits of the people of the region. The CRFM consist of three bodies – the Ministerial Council; the Caribbean Fisheries Forum; and the CRFM Secretariat.
