Dr. Kishore N. M. Shallow has been a prominent voice for young people across the Caribbean for many years. He has served as Vice Dean of the CARICOM Youth Ambassadors Programme, as well as the CARICOM Youth Ambassador for St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), and currently is Chairman of the SVG Young Professionals Association, which he founded in 2014.
Dr. Shallow, at age 33 is the youngest cricket president for any national cricket association. He is a director of Cricket West Indies, and also serves as a director of the Volcanoes Franchise and Windward Islands Cricket Board of Control.Â
Academically, Dr. Shallow holds a doctorate in Business Administration, with concentration in Finance. He also has a MBA from University of Wales Institute, Cardiff (UK), and a BSc (Hons) in Applied Business Computing from the University of Sunderland.
Professionally, Dr. Shallow is an IT and Business Consultant, contracted by Populus Global Solutions (PGS), a Canadian company that is specialized in National Health Information Systems. In his capacity with PGS, he engages health care practitioners to help them to advance their national health systems, specifically with the transition from paper-based to electronic. Other extensive employments have been with the Ministry of Health, Wellness, and Environment (SVG), and Ministry of Telecommunication (SVG). Dr. Shallow is also partner and technical advisor of different software companies, in addition to sole proprietor of iShallz, a digital and marketing enterprise.
Further contributions over the years have been: National cricketer for SVG; Assistant Secretary, SVG Cricket Association; Marketing Committee Member, SVG Football Federation; Member, Electronic Government for Regional Integration Project (EGRIP) Steering Committee; and Finance Review Committee Member, Scorch Cancer Foundation.
