At COP 27, countries come together to take action towards achieving the world’s collective climate goals as agreed under the Paris Agreement and the Convention.

UN Climate Change Conference 2022 (UNFCCC COP 27)

The 27th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 27) to the UNFCCC will take place in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.  

COP 27 was originally expected to take place from 8-20 November 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, COP 26 was rescheduled from November 2020 to November 2021. As a result, COP 27 will take place from 7-18 November 2022. 

We will update this page when the agenda for COP 27 is announced.

In order to respond to these challenges, the requisite leadership is needed to lead the vision for climate resilience, and the development and implementation of climate mitigation and adaptation strategies.

This first publication on Climate Change Statistics for CARICOM countries contains data up to 2019 in some instances, while for other series it comprises data up to 2012/13.  It aims at providing statistics on climate change for the region and follows the Framework for the Development of Environment Statistics (FDES 2013) of the United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD) and its refinements based on the Inter-governmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) schematic framework.
