ST. GEORGE’S, Grenada, CMC – Prime Minister Tillman Thomas Wednesday night announced that he had asked Governor General Sir Caryle Glean to dissolve Parliament paving the way for a general election in Grenada within 90 days.
In a brief radio and television address, Thomas did not name the date for the general election that was constitutionally due by October this year, but widely expected before that month.

ST GEORGE’S, Grenada, CMC – With Grenada gearing for a general election later this year, the Parliamentary Elections Office (PEA) says 13,900 names have been included on the official Voters List released here on Thursday.
The PEA said that people with complaints have until January 11 to submit them.Â
In his New Year’s message, Prime Minister Tillman Thomas urged voters to ensure that they are properly registered to contest the polls constitutionally due no later than October.

It said that the accord was signed by Finance Minister Nazim Burke and China’s Ambassador to Grenada, Xu Jianguo. “On behalf of the government, I wish to place on record our profound gratitude to the Government and people of the People’s Republic of China for its continued financial support in assisting us to meet the needs of our people,” Burke said.

ST GEORGE'S, Grenada (GIS) -- India's High Commissioner-designate to Grenada, Malay Mishra, has pledged his country’s continued support to Grenada in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

The Mission was deployed in all constituencies with the exception of Carriacou and Petite Martinique. The Mission would like to place on record that the group was able to cover 85 per cent of the polling stations in Grenada.
