This Report provides an insightful response to the mandate from the Caribbean Heads of Government at their July 2001 meeting in the Bahamas, to examine the current crime and security situation in the Region and to make recommendations. The Task Force is to be commended for its efforts in bringing together an expert group of technical and professional persons and practitioners to tackle the problems related to crime and security in the Region.
