(CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana) Caribbean and UK Foreign Ministers ended their two days of intense and frank discussions on Sunday afternoon with expressions of satisfaction with the 31-point Plan of Action that reflected the outcomes of the Seventh UK-Caribbean Ministerial Forum.

β€œIt is not about talking about talk, but acting on talk…” affirmed Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretary-General, Ambassador Irwin LaRocque in his description of the Action Plan at the closing press conference.

(CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana) Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretary-General Ambassador Irwin LaRocque on Tuesday received the credentials of His Excellency Robert Kopecky as the new European Union (EU) Ambassador to CARICOM.

The Ambassador, a national of the Czech Republic, is the first Ambassador to the Region appointed from an EU Member State rather than from the European Commission directly.
