The Twenty-Fourth Meeting of the Council for Trade and Economic Development (COTED) of CARICOM and the Fourth Meeting of the CARIFORUM (CARICOM and Dominican Republic) Council of Ministers β External Trade Negotiations, met in consecutive sessions on 15 November 2007 in Guyana.
The meetings were presided over by Minister of Foreign Trade and International Cooperation, Guyana, Dr. Henry Jeffrey.
We, the Ministers of Agriculture of CARICOM, meeting at the Gran Bahia Principe Hotel, Runaway Bay, St. Ann, Jamaica on 9 October 2007 on the occasion of a special Symposium on Food and Agriculture Policies and Obesity_ Prevention of NCDs in the Caribbean;
We,the Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), meeting at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago on 15 September 2007 on the occasion of a special Regional Summit on Chronic Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs);
Conscious of the collective actions which have in the past fuelled regional integration, the goal of which is to enhance the well-being of the citizens of our countries;

The CARICOM delegation was led by Ambassador Elisabeth Harper, Director General, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Guyana and Ambassador to the Caribbean Community and Japan by His Excellency Ambassador Koichiro Seki, Representative of the Government of Japan to the Caribbean Community.

(CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana) The Ministers recalled the Declaration against terrorism, adopted in Bridgetown, Barbados, on the 8th of December 2005, during the Second Cuba-CARICOM Summit.
1. The Fourth General Meeting between the Secretariats of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and the Organisation of American States (OAS) was convened at the CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana on 2 March 2007. The CARICOM delegation was led by His Excellency Edwin Carrington, Secretary General of the Caribbean Community. The OAS delegation was led by the Secretary General, His Excellency Jose Miguel Insulza. This is the first time that the respective Secretaries General are leading their delegations to a meeting of the two Secretariats.
