CARICOM Secretary-General, Dr. Carla Barnett, has congratulated Belize on the occasion of its 41st Independence Anniversary.

Community joins St. Kitts and Nevis in celebrating 39th Independence anniversary

St. Kitts and Nevis celebrates its thirty-ninth independence anniversary on 19 September 2022.

In extending congratulations on behalf of the Community, CARICOM Secretary-General, Dr. Carla Barnett, hailed the country’s progress since independence and the valuable contribution it has made to the Community.

CARICOM Secretary-General, Dr. Carla Barnett on Monday 5 September delivered the Second Distinguished Owen Arthur Memorial Lecture in Bridgetown, Barbados. The lecture was delivered under the theme ‘The Future of CARICOM; Charting a Vision for the Region’s Economic Advancement’.

It was organised by the the University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus, Shridath Ramphal Centre, and the Caribbean Development Bank.
