The CARICOM Secretariat, the Executing Agency, wishes to procure consultancy services for Advisor, to the Chairman of the CARICOM Commission on the Economy.

The objective of the consultancy is to appoint a Technical Advisor who will drive the implementation of the activities identified in the Commission’s Work Plan, ensuring timely acceptance of recommendations by all stakeholders and adoption of recommended strategies, including Member State governments. 

 The duration of the assignment is expected to be for a period of 24 months.

The proposed consultancy will determine the feasibility and impact of CARICOM concluding partial scope or free trade agreements with the members of the CACM and with Panama, Argentina, Brazil, and Chile. The potential for an enhanced trade agreement with Colombia will be examined.

The objective of the proposed consultancy is to provide technical support to the Public Sector Investment Program Management Unit of Ministry of Economic Planning, Sustainable Development, Industry, Information and Labour (MOEP), Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines for the preparation and execution of detailed engineering designs, and the preparation of technical parts of bidding documents.

The objective of the proposed Consultancy is to provide technical support to the Ministry of Economic Planning, Sustainable Development, Industry, Information and Labour (the Client) and the Ministry of Education, National Reconciliation and Ecclesiastical Affairs (MoE), for development of a national curriculum for primary and lower secondary schools in climate change and disaster risk reduction.
