(CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana) The Second High Level Forum between the Caribbean and Korea got underway on Tuesday morning in Seoul, Republic of Korea with the acknowledgement that the two parties shared common interests and encountered similar challenges, and could benefit from investment and shared knowledge.
(CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana) It is a distinct pleasure for me to address this Second High Level Forum on Korea-Caribbean Partnership between the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and the Republic of Korea. It is a pleasure both because of the warm and friendly relations between the two sides and also because of the generous hospitality extended to us since our arrival here in this beautiful country. Having experienced the magnificent Yeosu Exposition yesterday and taken in some of your breathtaking scenery, it is a pity that our stay is so short.
(CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana) It is an honour and pleasure, to address you on behalf of the countries of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) participating in Yeosu Expo 2012 here in the Republic of Korea. It is gratifying that I am doing so on this special occasion of CARICOM National Day.
