A key objective of the project is to ensure a socio-economic benefit for The Bahamas. That objective is to require the successful Vendor/implementer to either establish a presence in The Bahamas or to partner with an existing firm already established here so as to facilitate the transfer of knowledge. It is expected that the community supervision of offenders will be greatly improved and that this will lead to improvements in public safety in The Bahamas.

The Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA), with funding from the 11th EDF Programme for the Support for Health System Strengthening for prevention  and control of outbreaks  of Zika and other mosquito-borne diseases in the Caribbean, is seeking to engage a  consultant to gain a better understanding of the population’s knowledge, attitudes and practices associated with Zika and other mosquito-borne diseases (MBDs) in six (6) CMS, that  could be used  to (i) further  inform CARPHA of facilitators and barriers  to implementing  a community-based Vector Borne Disease public education  campaig

Objectives
The objectives of this consultancy are_
1. To develop a programme for biodiversity monitoring;
2. To coordinate and implement biodiversity monitoring protocols; and
3. To manage, analyse, and disseminate data in collaboration with relevant personnel, to include
the Biosecurity Officer, the Redonda Ecosystem Reserve Coordinator, and the OICP Coordinator.

The overall goal of this post is to maintain IAS-free status of offshore islands. The objectives of this
consultancy are_
1. To develop a programme for biosecurity monitoring on the offshore islands;  
2. To verify and maintain biosecurity protocols on offshore islands;
3. To review and revise biosecurity protocols for implementation on offshore islands; and
4. To develop a strategy for continued engagement with stakeholders.

Consultancy Objectives
The objectives of this consultancy are_
1. To develop an eradication plan for Green and Smith Islands, informed by existing feasibility plans (Smith and Green Is) and previous eradication plans (Green Is)
2. To coordinate and implement an eradication of rats from Green Island and Smith Island. Black rats are the primary focus of this eradication, however there have been small numbers of
chickens and goats recently recorded on Green Island whose removal will also be required under this consultancy.

The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) has received financing from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) in Support for the Dissemination of Data from the Population and Housing Census in the Caribbean Community Project, and intends to apply of the funding for the procurement of Consultancy Services for the Upgrade and Census E-Portal.  

The objective of the consultancy is to update and prepare an electronic platform to disseminate the results of the census in CARICOM countries, starting with the provision of data from the 2010 Round as a baseline.
