The Government of Guyana has received financing from the Inter‐American Development Bank, toward the cost of the Citizen Security Strengthening Programme, and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the Contract for Procurement of Services - Conduct of the Safe Neighbourhood Survey.

The Government of Guyana has received financing from the Inter‐American Development Bank, toward the cost of the Citizen Security Strengthening Programme, and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the Contract for Procurement of Services - Proficiency Testing Service Provider to Support the Guyana Forensic Science Laboratory (GFSL) on the Implementation of Its Quality Management System that is in accordance with the ISO 17025 Accreditation standards.

The project will utilise the services of a consultant to provide the required technical expertise to assist the selected CARIFORUM Member States and the Project Coordinators in the preparation of (i) diagnostic report on the status of Tourism Statistics and National Accounts; and (ii) a Draft Roadmap to build capacity in those states to produce TSAs.
