Today is a day of special significance in CARIFORUM/European Union Relations. We will experience the many dimensions of that relationship. We will first witness the signature of a Country Strategy Paper (CSP) between the European Commission and Antigua and Barbuda, a Member State of CARIFORUM.

The Meeting is made possible through the assistance of the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) as part of the CARICOM Trade and Competitiveness Project (CTCP) and the European Union.

(CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana) The Thirty-Second Special Meeting of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Council for Trade and Economic Development (COTED) on Agriculture opens on Friday 18 September, 2009 at the Le Meridien Pegasus, Georgetown, Guyana.

COTED Officials began their meeting from Wednesday September 16, 2009 at the same location.
