(CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana)The future strategy of the Pan Caribbean Partnership Against HIV/AIDS (PANCAP), must place emphasis on universal access to HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment.

This was the view of more than 150 delegates representing member countries and organisations of PANCAP attending a Caribbean Gathering held as one of the side events at the 16th International HIV/AIDS Conference in Toronto.

(CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana) The Member States of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) express their grave concern over the escalating conflict in the Middle East and deplore the attendant loss of life, the majority reportedly being women and children, as well as the widespread destruction.

The ongoing and intensifying conflict in an already volatile region poses a threat to international peace and security.

(CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana)CARICOM Secretary-General, His Excellency Edwin Carrington concluded and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Tuesday 1 August between the CARICOM Secretariat, on behalf of the Mainstreaming Adaptation to Climate Change (MACC) Project, and the Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (CCCCC). Dr Kenrick Leslie, the Executive Director of the Centre, signed on its behalf at the ceremony which took place one year after the official opening of the CCCCC.

These include, Domestic Agriculture, Sustainable Tourism, Transport, Energy, and Information and Communication Technologies.

Supply-side is a description of economic policies that promote conditions favouring the producers of goods and services.

(CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana)The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) welcomes the release of Mr. Yvon Neptune, Prime Minister of Haiti in the Aristide government, following an order by the Appeals Court of Haiti. CARICOM had repeatedly condemned the abuse of due process and of the rule of law associated with the prolonged detention without trial of Mr. Neptune.

The high profile personality of Mr.
