The Fifth Meeting of the Council for Foreign and Community Relations (COFCOR) was held in Castries, Saint Lucia on 6-7 May, 2001. The Ministers attending were_ the Hon. Sir Ronald Sanders, Chief Foreign Affairs Representative with Ministerial Rank, Antigua and Barbuda; the Hon. Ministers with responsibility for Information and Communication Technology (ICT)in the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) are due to meet in Antigua and Barbuda next Wednesday, 15 May 2002, to look at the regional information and communication technology environment as well as to mobilise coordinated action towards the framing of regional programming and a CARICOM Policy on ICT.

The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) has been invited by the Secretary-General of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), Edwin Carrington, to participate in the Civil Society "Forward Together Encounter" scheduled for 2 - 3 July 2002 in Georgetown, Guyana.

The Conference, which will see the participation of the Heads of Government of CARICOM, will take place just prior to their annual Conference scheduled for July 3-5 in Georgetown.
