To develop a comprehensive National REDD+ Strategy for Jamaica through varioyus studies/ assessments and partcipatory approaches with key stakeholders in the forest sector. It will include the following activties_

I. Support National REDD+ Readiness management arrangements;

II. Facilitate information sharing and early dialogue (stakeholder mapping, REDD+ Communication Strategy and Plan, capacity building);

III. Conduct a desk review of the country's existing capacicty to respond to and resolve grievances and conflicts;

The Caribbean Regulatory System (CRS) is pleased to announce its first ever expression of interest (EOI) for sponsors to submit dossiers to the CRS for medicines on its priority medicines list. The  CRS is a regional regulatory system being implemented by the Caribbean Community’s (CARICOM) regional public health agency, the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA), in collaboration with the Pan American Health Organization/ World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO).

The Ministry of Financial Services (MOFS) was established in 2012 and currently has responsibility for International Trade. MOFS also has responsibility for Financial Services, the Standards Bureau, the administration of the Industries Encouragement Act and Local Government. The Trade and Industry Section is headed by a Director who is assisted by six (6) officers dealing with all international trade matters; i.e., the negotiation and implementation of bi-lateral, regional and international trade agreements.
