CONSULTANT

CARPHA and the European Union (EU) recently concluded an Agreement for the 11th European Development Fund (EDF) Programme of Support for Health Security Strengthening for Prevention and Control of Outbreaks of Communicable Diseases in the Caribbean. The four-year Project is aimed at strengthening health security in the region and is valued at €8 million of which approximately €5 million will be used to support a direct response to the outbreak of COVID-19 in the Caribbean.

The Government of Guyana has received financing from the Inter‐American Development Bank, toward the cost of the Citizen Security Strengthening Programme (CSSP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the Contract for Procurement of Services – Production of Public Education Campaign Materials for Awareness, Attitude, and Behaviour Change to Prevent Inter-personal violence.
