By webmaster, 13 August, 2015

The Caribbean Regional Strategic Framework (CRSF) 2014-2018 - the successor to the CRSF 2008-2012 - provides strategic direction and programmatic orientation for the members of PANCAP in their pursuit of universal access to HIV and AIDS prevention, treatment, care and support services by 2018.

This new CRSF embraces all CARICOM Member States and Associated Members, as well as Cuba, the Dominican Republic, the Dutch Overseas Territories, the French Overseas Departments of the Americas, and the United States Territories in the Caribbean.  It serves as a call to these nations to accelerate their individual efforts against HIV and AIDS, while enhancing their regional collaboration.

The six priority areas of the Framework are_

• An enabling environment that fosters universal access to HIV prevention, treatment, care, and support services

• An expanded and coordinated multisectoral response to the HIV epidemic

• Prevention of HIV transmission

• Treatment, Care and Support

• Capacity Development for HIV/AIDS services

• Monitoring, Evaluation and Research
