The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) through the Climate Promise (CP) initiative is providing support to the Office of Climate Change, Government of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana (GoG) to pursue enabling initiatives in the preparation of Guyana’s Second Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the Paris Agreement.

The Caribbean Agricultural Health and Food Safety Agency has received financing from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) in an amount equivalent to US$147,000 towards the cost of developing guidelines to facilitate intra-regional trade in selected plant and animal products and intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this financing to eligible payments under a contract for which this invitation is issued.
