(CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana) The widespread economic threat that Alien Invasive Species (IAS) pose to the Caribbean dictates coordination at national and regional levels to optimise the use of resources and technical expertise.

This they are doing while at the same time observing Guyana’s biodiversity, by journeying to the central part of the country for a three-day visit to the one million acreage Iwokrama Rainforest Conservation and Development reserve.
AMENDMENT OF TRIPS AGREEMENT WELCOMED BY CARIBBEAN
