(CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana)Ā Ā Ā Ā The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretariat Programme Manager for Culture and Community Development, Dr Hilary Brown is of the opinion that the Caribbean needs to do more to strengthen its heritage tourism product.
She believes that āmuch more could be doneā to develop the Regionās natural and built heritage which is an invaluable resource in building Heritage Tourism.

Dr Denzil Douglas, Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, and Chairman of the Conference of Heads of Government of CARICOM,Ā Ā will lead a Prime Ministerial mission on a one-day visit to Haiti, in fulfillment of a decision made by the Heads of Government at their Twenty-Seventh Regular Meeting in St Kitts in July 2006.
The Twenty-Seventh Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community was held in Bird Rock, St. Kitts and Nevis, from 3-6 July 2006. Honourable Dr. Denzil Douglas, Prime Minister of the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis presided.

(CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana) St. Kitts and Nevis will be the venue for this yearās staging of the annual CARICOM 10K invitational road race which will take place on Sunday 2nd July, one day prior to the start of the 27th meeting of The Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community.
The CARICOM Invitational 10K, which has now become a calendar event for athletes in the Region, will feature the best male and female long distance runners from each CARICOM Member State.
